XElectron has expanded its home entertainment portfolio in India with the launch of the Techno Plus Android 14 Smart Home Projector. The new projector offers native Full HD resolution, support for 4K content and projection sizes of up to 200 inches.
Priced at Rs 8,499, the Techno Plus runs on Android 14 and comes equipped with features such as automatic keystone correction, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 180-degree rotatable design. The adjustable form factor allows users to project content on a wall or ceiling depending on their viewing setup.
The projector provides direct access to popular OTT and video-streaming platforms, including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5 and SonyLIV. With streaming apps accessible directly through the projector, users can watch content without relying on a separate streaming stick or media player.
XElectron is positioning the Techno Plus as an all-in-one entertainment device for watching movies and sports, playing games and general home viewing.
XElectron Techno Plus specifications and features
The Techno Plus features native 1080p resolution and supports playback of 4K content. According to the company, the projector offers a 5000:1 contrast ratio for improved picture detail and clarity.
XElectron claims the projector delivers 9,000 lumens of LED projection brightness. It can produce a screen size of up to 200 inches, making it suitable for users looking for a large-screen viewing experience at home.
The projector also includes entertainment-focused connectivity options. It supports wired and wireless microphones as well as guitar input for karaoke sessions. Bluetooth connectivity allows users to pair compatible speakers and headphones with the device.
An automatic keystone correction feature is designed to simplify picture alignment, while the 180-degree rotating body allows users to adjust the direction of projection according to the room setup.
For wireless connectivity, the Techno Plus supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, enabling internet streaming and pairing with compatible devices.
The projector comes with a built-in bass speaker, reducing the need for a separate audio system for basic home entertainment use.
XElectron has also included support for 25 interface languages, including English, Hindi and Bangla.
Commenting on the launch, XElectron Managing Director Gagan Sharma said consumers are increasingly looking for flexible and affordable ways to enjoy large-screen entertainment at home.
